Meet Buster the Teaching Bus™

Buster is a friendly teaching school bus who educates Rhode Island students in preschool- grade 2 on the lifesaving rules of traffic safety.

In conjunction with the safety tips Buster discusses with youngsters in the classroom, we recommend parents review the safety pointers and state laws with their children which students will bring home in a brochure along with a Buster the School Bus coloring book.

Would you like to schedule a Buster the School Bus to visit your PreK-2 class, or group?

Enter your organization’s information in the form below and select a preferred start time (the program takes approximately 30 minutes).
We prefer to begin the program at either 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
Parking must be provided for convenient loading and unloading of Buster and equipment.
A gymnasium or all-purpose room is suggested so that the children can sit on the floor and in a circle. Please do not set up seats.

We can accommodate up to 50 students per session depending on the size of the room. Multiple sessions can be scheduled on the same day.
There is no fee for the program.
We will notify your local police department to request a police officer present for the integral portion of the program.
We may invite a teacher to read a portion of the script. (If so, plans will be discussed in advance.)
