Students in grades K – 8 illustrated a poster relating to an assigned safety category, under the supervision of dedicated educators and parents. Students in grades 9 – 12 communicated their ideas on safe teen driving through posters or videos. The process motivates participants to adopt safer behaviors in their own lives.

The contest continues its primary aim of reducing traffic and pedestrian crashes, one of the leading causes of death for children ages 3 to 14.

AAA has awarded cash prizes totaling over $4,650 to three Grand Award and 12 Place Award winners.
