Deadline for entries has been extended until March 31st!

Students in grades K-12 in the New York club area are eligible to participate. The AAA Traffic Safety Poster & Video Contest encourages creativity and represents a unique opportunity for students to communicate safety messages to their peers.

Participating in the contest gives students the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents and traffic safety knowledge on the subjects of pedestrian, child passenger and novice driver safety.

  •  Students in Grades K - 8 may submit an original, hand-drawn poster.
  • Students in Grades 9 - 12 are allowed to submit a hand-drawn poster, a graphic art/digitally-enhanced design, or a video up to two minutes in length.

The competition is judged on a state-wide basis by traffic safety and art experts. Entries are judged on the relationship of the entry to proper traffic safety practices, originality, creativity and execution, visual impact and relevance of the slogan.

Winning entries will be featured on the AAA Northeast website and selected entries may appear in the Club’s monthly publication, Your AAA.
