3rd Annual Summer Food Drive

AAA Branch

We invite members to participate in our annual summer food drive throughout July. Every AAA branch will collect non-perishable food for local community organizations. This tradition started three years ago to raise awareness of food insecurity as a year-round issue. With help from our members, we were able to fill neighborhood food pantries at a time of year when donations usually dwindle while the need often increases. The circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to impact many of our friends and neighbors. The economic fallout has created more widespread food insecurity. With your help, we know this year’s summer food drive can make a difference.

Please be sure to donate non-perishable (not frozen or refrigerated), sealed and unexpired food items. Refrain from glass containers if possible.

3rd Annual Warm Clothing Drive

AAA Branch

For the 3rd consecutive year, join AAA as we collect cold weather accessories from December 1 - 30. This event has continued to be a resounding success because of the generosity of AAA members. Last year more than 17,500 items were collected and distributed to local charities, many of them even handmade. This holiday season consider purchasing or making extra scarves, hats, mittens, gloves, or socks. Gently used articles are also accepted, however, only new socks donations are accepted. Visit your local AAA branch and drop off cold weather accessories in the designated collection bin. Donations will benefit local organizations within our communities.
