The AAA Difference

Our Mission

The AAA Driver Training School's mission is to create life-long safe drives. Our reputation is earned by experience - for over 85 years, AAA has led the way in Driver Training and Education Programs. This history began in the 1930s with the publishing of AAA's "Sportsmanlike Driving". It's modern equivalent, "How To Drive", is used by AAA Driving Schools and other State/Commercial driving schools throughout the country.

What We Do

The AAA Driver Training School provides the highest quality driver training and education to both teen and adult drivers through highly experienced, highly trained, licensed professionals committed to preparing students for the road ahead.

Classroom Education

The AAA Driving School is licensed to provide classroom education in the following states. Classroom programs are currently being conducted virtually through GoToWebinar due to COVID.

  • Connecticut - 8 hour pre-licensing course (including a 2 hour parent component)
  • Massachusetts - 30 hour classroom course, plus a 2 hour parent class
  • Rhode Island - 33 hour classroom course

Behind-The-Wheel Training

Using a fleet of over 80 late-model vehicles and facilitated by highly trained instructors, the Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training to both teens and adults. We offer packages to meet state-mandated pre-licensing requirements as well as optional in car training in states where it is not required. Our vehicles go through a rigorous cleaning process using CDC approved chemicals before and after each lesson, and each vehicle is equipped with PPE for both instructors and students.
