AAA Northeast is now offering auto, home and umbrella insurance in Connecticut through its affiliated insurance company— Motor Club Insurance Company (MCIC) — and is no longer writing coverage with your current carrier. With this change, your policy will not be renewed, but instead, we will be offering you a new policy with MCIC* or another carrier we represent.

We previously worked as your insurance agent, making sure your insurance needs were met through our trusted insurance partners. Now, you can trust us to directly service your insurance needs, all while enjoying the exceptional value you have come to expect from AAA. Some of the benefits AAA Insurance coverage provides are:

We are working to make this transition as easy as possible for you, and there is no immediate action that you need to take on your auto or home policies. You will receive a policy packet and invoice from us in the coming weeks with instructions for paying your premium. Please review carefully and let us know if you have any questions. If not, and to ensure coverage, pay the premium as instructed. For umbrella insurance, we will reach out to you to discuss coverage options for MCIC or another carrier.

If you were set up on electronic or automated payments with your current policy, you will need to complete and return a new EFT form to ensure there is no lapse in payment or coverage. You can also visit your local branch or call our service department at (866) 284-7222 to complete this process.

If you are a AAA Northeast member, we offer a generous membership discount on your insurance premium. Members save 10% on auto insurance and 5% on home insurance. Members who bundle their auto and home coverage could save up to 24%**. MCIC only offers coverage for auto, home, and umbrella insurance at this time. For umbrella insurance, we will reach out to you to discuss coverage options for MCIC or another carrier. For other types of policies, AAA Northeast will be reaching out to you to offer coverage through one of our trusted insurance partners.

We have worked hard to try to keep auto premiums and home premiums consistent with what you were paying but cannot guarantee that they will be the same. Your policy term(s) should not change since AAA Insurance also offers 12-month policy terms for auto and homeowners coverage, which is reflected in your premium payments.
